Overchange for simple repair Warrenton

I now live in New York, having been transfer for work. I rent my home in Virginia do to lack of a sale in a bad housing market. Recently my tentant had a minor problem with a sink drain. The "pop-up assembly" as the repair report calls it, was leaking. This is the ball pivot assembly that raises and lowers your drain plug. Maybe a $5 part if that much, but probably only needed tightening, as these parts rarely break. Not having been there I can say that it wasn't bad, but I am sure that $338.36 to repair it is outragous. My Plumber changes $85 just to come to your house to estimate. If you agree to the repair this comes off of your bill. You have to pay them before they look, and if they do nothing your still out the $85.in this case my tenant had the repair done. I am an ASHI certified home inspector. I have a good idea what things cost to repair. For $338.36 I could have replaced the entire sink. I will never deal with this company again, and want to warmn people about them.

By the way NO Mailing Address is given on their receipt. There is NO legable name of who did the repair. The only clear thing on the bill is the amount charged.
