Took receipt of $222 in March 08 for artwork supposedly already in existence and has never delivered despite numerous calls. Refuses to refund money

My daughter ordered a piece of artwork (hand made coronet) in March. She spoke to and received e mail confirmation that such a piece was already made and available and ready to go. My daughter mailed a check for $222 on 3/22/08, which was cashed by Jan Wyman/Crafty Fox Artworks on 3/26/08.

My daughter has made several calls and sent several e mails to this woman over the last 4 months asking when she would receive her order. Her calls went unanswered.

The wedding to which my daughter was planning on wearing this coronet has been and gone.

I called this woman last night and she refuses to refund the money saying she doesn't have $222! She was rude and confrontational on the telephone and hung up on me when I asked her what she was going to do to remedy the situation.

I will be e-mailing this to the vendor and unless my daughter is refunded $222 by Friday, August 1st, will be bringing legal action against her, and posting this on every website that deals in her area of goods.

If payment is received by next Friday, we will remove this complaint.
