Never Recieved - Chest Freeze

On, Sunday, March 2, I went into the store and bought a chest type freezer. The salesman was all over me, trying to get a sale. I went into this store with the ad from the newspaper in hand. And I went there to purchase a chest type freezer. I was told if I paid for the one I wanted it would be delivered to the store the very next day at noon. So I paid cash for the freezer and a stereo my daughter wanted and left the store. On calling the next afternoon, Monday, March 3, I was put on hold and no one ever came back to the phone. Thinking the freezer I purchased came in on the truck, I proceeded to the store address anyways. On my arrival I parked my trailer and my daughter went into the store to be told, that my freezer in fact had not came in on the noon truck as promised. And they would have it delivered to my house for free the very next day. This did not happen either. I called the next day, Tuesday and again was told it was not delivered to the store. And that they had no idea when it would be there, that someone would call me when it came in. Wednesday and Thursday passed with no calls. So on Friday, March 7, my daughter called to ask if it was delivered, she too was told it was not. On Saturday, March 8, I was again told it was not there they would deliver it to my home for free the very next day. This also did not happen. Monday passed and still no call from this company. I called on Tuesday, March 11, again I was told it was not there. At this time I was offered the display in the store. I told them I want the new freezer I had paid for and no I did not want the display I wanted my money back. I went into the store a few minutes after the phone call to receive my refund as was told that anything over $100 could not be refunded by the store it would have to be issued in check form in 7 to 10 business days. My next problem is: When I paid cash for this freezer I did not tell them that because it was over a $100 I would have to issue them a check in 7 to 10 business days, I paid in full. I never had this item in my possession and there would be no reason why this company should be able to keep my money. Angry customer in Lizella. Georgia.
