Caused damage to my living room carpet and over charged me for their service

This franchise of Molly Maids is the most disorganized, asinine, irreverent group of people I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with.

It took several attempts to even get them to come out and provide me a quote for serivce. That should have detered me from using them and normally that would have but I saw that they came highly recommended.

I was quoted $78 an hour with an expected clean time of 1 1/2 hours. They also offered $72 an hour if I continued to use the cleaning service. I wanted to see how it would go so I scheduled for the maids to come out on the following Friday.

They came in and set all their cleaning supplies in the main floor of my home which is the living room. (carpet)

I was present during the service which took 2 hours instead of the 1 1/2 that was quoted. I was also charged 169.00 which isn't 2 hours at $78 an hour!

Upon inspection of the job they just completed I noticed some spots on my living room carpet??? I couldn't figure out what it was so I called Molly Maid to inquire. I got their voicemail as always and left a message. They didn't return my call until Tuesday the following week! In the meantime my kids were walking across the carpet and the spots just kept getting larger. I attempted to use my kirby carpet cleaner to clean up the mess the maids had left behind only to have the stains resurfice the next day!

I finally got a call back and set up a time for one of the women in the office to come by and take a look at the carpet. The first appointment was for Wednesday which was suppose to be between 3pm and 4pm. They called at about 5pm to let me know that they weren't going to make it out that day! They wanted to schedule a time to come out the following day. I told them I had errands to run and that just to call me when they were in the area to stop by.

The woman came out and we both concluded that it was Murphy's Oil Soap. I don't use that type of cleaner because I dont' have wood floors or anything in my home that would require that type of product.

The woman also suggested I use just water to clean the spots and give them a call to see if it worked!!! Ridiculous! Of course just wanting the spots gone I tried the water only method of cleaning it. Spots came back again. They were suppose to talk to their carpet guy and ask about getting the stains out and get back to me~ never happened.

I have since filed a complaint with the BBB and they replied stating that they suggested I use my carpet cleaner with water only and that they are not responsible for what "I did to my carpet" Completely obsurd!

My advise is to stay away from using this company as they over charge and when they cause damage to your home they expect you to fix it!
