AKA FDS Rude female telephone receptionist

I arrived home at about 4:15 this afternoon. My garbage can was sitting on the apron where I had put it at 5:25 this morning when I left for work. The can was still full of garbage. I called the FDS office and told the female that answered the phone that my garbage had not been picked up this morning. After getting my address she put me on hold. When she returned she stated, "The driver said he went through that area at 8:30 and there was no garbage". I informed her that is incorrect, I placed the can out at 5:25 when I left for work". Her reply was, "Our driver has no reason to lie". I guess that meant I was lying cause the driver had no reason to lie! I told her, "He did have a reason if he did not pick up the garbage as he was supposed to". She said she would schedule a pickup tomorrow and asked if there was anything else. I said, "Yes, tell your driver not to lie about doing his job!". She said good bye and hung up.

I guess there is no training about customer service or that employees lie to cover up not doing their job, but customers do lie! Good way to keep paying customers happy and attract new customers! I can see the new motto, You lie - We don't!
