Dish Network Trying to charge me $900.00 for a vip 211 receiver that i bought on Ebay

I was a dish network customer until today. I had 2 pvr/dvr receivers that i had leased thru dish. I deceided that i wanted to try Hd so i went on Ebay and purchased a Vip 211 Receiver for around $180.00 (shipping included). I called dish and had the Vip receiver activated with no problem and canceled one of the Pvr/dvr units. They sent me a box and i sent back the receiver. About a year later the Vip receiver died so i called Dish up and deactivated the receiver. The lady told me that they would send me a box to send the old unit back. I told her that i purchased the receiver on Ebay and that when it died i tossed it in the trash. She said no problem. Two weeks later i get a UPS box with return labels. Two weeks after that i have UPS banging on my door waking my wife up who works nights asking to pick up a package. Next i get a phone call (recording) saying that if i don't return the receiver that they are going to charge my credit card $900.00. If i have any questions to call 866-668-8047. So i call the number and get a person after the recorded BS. I told him first off to cancel my account then i proceed to tell him why. Then he transfers me to another person and i told her that i wanted to cancel my account and you get the back pedaling crap and were sorry and if you stay with us we'll take $10.00 off monthly for a year. So i finally get her to cancel the account and i tell her about why i'm canceling account and that i bought the receiver on Ebay. She asks me if i have proof that i bought the receiver and that she shows it as leased. I told her i did and she said that she would have to transfer me to another number and that i would have to fax over proof that i purchased the receiver. I told her why should i have to prove that i bought it. Can you prove that you sent me one. I told her to go ahead and charge my credit card and i would file a small claims suit against them. I have the proof that i purchased the receiver but don't you think that they should know who bought and who leased what? I thought that in this country that you were innocent until proven guilty. Dish you lost $1800.00 a year from a AAA never been late on a payment customer. Hope you share holders read this.
