Ahthorized Deal Stole Equipment and Scubapro Won't Back There Equipment

I dropped of a regulator at the Scubapro dealer Commonwealth Dive in Hampton, Virginia to be repaird. The dealer closed the store and disappeared with the regulator.

I contacted Scubapro about what the situation on Friday May 9th and spoke to Bobbi (sp). I told her what happened and she said she was sorry but the Commonwalth Dive isn't a dealer any more and they couldn't do anything to help me. After her comment I said, Commonwealth Dive was a dealer before they closed and now that they are closed it is obvious they aren't a dealer any more. Any other legiment company would stand behind there products or dealers and make good on the regulator.

Bobbi (sp) asked me what I would like Scubapro to do? I responded with it would be nice to get a replacement regulator or a voucher for the orginal purchase price. She said, she would check with a supervisor.

I called Scubapro on May 12th and spoke to Bobbi (sp) and she said the supervisior said there was nothing they could do and that I was out of luck.

Scubapro had a chance to have customers for life by backing an AUTHORIZED DEALER and backing there product. They choose not to do anything. They will not back a dealer they have to authorize to do warranty work.

I will updated this report as needed as I am in the process of writing a letter to the company, the local newspaper for the area the company is located, and the BB. I will remove this report if the company makes right on there product but as of now don't do business with the company as they will not stand behind there AUTHORIZED DEALERS.
