Cordless Drill Kit Sold Repackaged With the Drill Missing

Home Depot routinely reseals merchandise that customers have used and returned, with nobody checking what is inside, and then puts it back on sale as new.

I was just cheated that way. What I bought was a Skil cordless drill kit that had been repackaged and had no drill inside. I returned it with the receipt, and the employees laughed in my face, telling me nothing would be done.

At least ten other people waiting in line were complaining about the same kind of scam. I will never set foot in a Home Depot again. If a store like Lowe's is not available where you live, open every package and check it inside the store before you leave.

Selling used, repackaged items as new, with parts missing or broken, is standard practice at every Home Depot.
