Children's dress store ripped me off!

I went to a kid's dress store in the Little Village area of Chicago to buy my niece a communion dress. I have been to this store many times. We have a very large family and do plenty of business there. I have 2 niece's making their first communion. The first time I went to this store was fine my sister spent $280.00 for her daughter's dress and accessories. I told the owner I would be back the following week for my other niece.

We walked in and tried many things on finally we agreed on a dress the zipper was tricky. The sale woman told us all the dresses were like this just to be careful mind you my niece is very thin so it shouldn't be too difficult to fit her. The sales woman stated that we could not get a refund but they would probably do an exchange if something went wrong.

That night my sister in law tried the dress on and the zipper broke open. We called the owner and she hung up on my sister in law and told her there was nothing she could do we were lying. She tried to call back and was hung up on again. Did I mention the dress was $150.00. For that amount you would not expect to have to dish out more money fo repairs. This store does not stand behind their merchandise!
