Ripoff consumer fraud ripoff

My retired mother-in-law who makes very little income sent her check to get a pair of slippers to keep her feet warm this winter. Her checked cleared and as of this day she still hasn't received her slippers. This is so not right. Not only is she out the slippers she wanted but the money to be able to go get another pair some where else.
