Fraudulent practices ripoff business Elizabeth City

When I called to cancel my service with this company, they claimed I had to pay a $200.00 cancellation of service fee because I was with them for less than one year. I explained I had no SERVICE for I was charged roaming charges in my own home and either I couldn't hear who I was talking to or they couldn't hear me most of the time.

They claimed maybe I need to make my calls outside my home and maybe the reception was poor due to living near water. This is both ridiculus and of course was not explained when I signed up initially. The fee to cancel was not explained and I was assured that there would be service in my area. The company claims there are three towers in the area yet they could not provide the service that is their part of the sevice agreement.

So, what it comes down to is either I hire an attorney to fight these idiots or pay this ridiculus fee or ruin my credit rating.By the way when I called the company no one would give their last name and I was reminded that my credit rating was at stake.
