DISH - 2 No Shows - LIED to - STOLE money from my account!

I moved from Houston Texas to Lafayette Louisiana. As required I called DISH and set up an appointment to have my satellite re-installed in Louisiana on Feb 29. My appt time was anywhere between noon and 4pm which was fine with me since I would be busy moving in.

By 8pm I called DISH network only to find out the contractor supposedly talked to the apt manager and he told her he would need a tripod for the install and left! He never called me to let me know he would not be showing up. Upon further investigation and talking to my manager this contractor LIED. Plus he lied and told DISH network that he had called me but I was not there! I was there from 10am to 8pm with my cell phone on my butt ALL day long so I would not miss his call - LIAR!

After talking to DISH I found out they had re-scheduled me for the following Wednesday (March 5) - never could determine how was I going to be notified about this new appointment?

Wednesday came - NO SHOW. I did however verbally talk to the contractor on several occasions while waiting for him. We first determined the first contractor that never showed up did not even inform DISH Network that this guy needed a tripod as he didn't have one! I was going to be re-scheduled again! After waiting 2 hours at my apartment while he ate he finally calls me back and tells me he talked to management as well and determined he would need to install a pole in the ground and the apt manager told him no - LIES LIES LIES! I talked to my apt manager and she said DISH Network NEVER talked to her on Feb 29 nor on March 5 and she certainly would not have turned him down - there are already several DISH satellites in the complex on a pole in the ground! Why would she say no?

Once again I call the idiots at DISH network and I was told 2 things. I should not have moved from Houston to Lafayette if I could not install a DISH satellite at my new residence! I guess I was supposed to quit my job of 20 years just so I could keep DISH in Texas? Then she told me it was MY responsibility to find an apt with "line of sight" - how stupid is that? Then while I was on the phone this "specialist" went into my bank account WITHOUT my permission and took money out to penalize ME for canceling?

I am currently talking to an attorney about a class action suit after reading all the complaints here about DISH! There are hundreds! I am also writing ECHO Star coporation from the CEO on down; I am filing complaints with the BBB of Louisiana; I am also filing complaints with the FCC; I am also contacting my State Representative and Congressman about initiating a Federal investigation into DISH/EchoStar's fraud, stealing, and lies.
