Employees beware, Contractor has 18 small claim suits against him

I am a student of Itt Technical institute and was hired by Jon E. Morehouse to do his drawings for him as a Drafter/Engineer. We agreed on the start of the job of the next day at $16.00 an hour with free gas to his shop. He pays out every two weeks. After two weeks on not seeing any drawing work or cad. (which I was hired to do). I left the business. Upon asking for my check he refused and sent me $300.00 hoping that would satisfy my needs.

I have taken him to small claims court. He had a judgment put against him for the $1200 the money he owed me from the Judge on the first trial. He has then hired a lawyer and reopened the case. Later after viewing his personal records he has had 18 Small Claim suits filed against him from other Customers and people he hired to do his work for him.

He not only lies but uses the Name of Promise Keepers a highly honest faith. I believe he uses this as a mean to gain trust to his victims.

Employers beware of him. He will promise you the Moon, but in the end hire you to do simple slave labor tasks for him in his shop. No wonder he can only hire his family to run the business, no reputable Degree student will work for him. I am still in Small Claims and have warned Itt Tech about him and any other Temp agencies that are in the Area.
