Bank of America representatives-horribly rude inconsistant information Baltimore

My husband and I received a "pre-qualified" offer in the mail for up to a 50000.00 credit line to consolidate credit card debt. On a whim I called them this morning to see what they could do for us. The lady I spoke with this morning was very nice, she took my info and I was transfered to a analyst for an instant credit decision. The rep was very nice and said he could only qualify me for a portion of our request using just my own income. He provided me his department number to have my husband call back and complete his portion. My husband called back the same night and the number provided was disconnected. So he called the same number I had called earlier in the day, the gentleman that answered told him my application was canceled. He proceeded to take a new application from my husband but didnt get all of our information nor allowed him to speak with the analyst we were originally to speak to. He just said the application was declined and that was that. So i called back to get more info since that was totally contrary to what I had been told earlier. This time a women by the name of whitney answered the phone, I told her that my husband was told my app was canceled and I didn't know what was going on. She was extremely rude and kept cutting me off and said she would only speak to my husband. So I put him on the phone and she was extremely rude to him. My husband asked to speak with the analyst, which he did but he was also horrible. I'm shocked that they are allowed to treat people this way! None of the entire situation made any sense, and now they have both of our social security numbers. Bank of America sucks, it's one thing to be declined, its another to be treated like complete garbage. I will never do business with these people, imagine how they'd treat us if we owed them money!
