Rip off scam for money

My husband recieved a message from his supervisor that a man with a strong middle eastern accent by the name of JASON MARTIN had called and left a message stating that if we did not call him back with an attorney may god be with you.

When my husband returned the call to a los angeles number of 213-550-4171 the man that answered the phone was very rude and demanding. He said that we need to pay the outstanding payday loan of $1089 by monday or my husband would go to jail for check fraud and a numerous other charges. My husband would not pay the loan so he hung up and told him to be ready for jail on monday.

I was very worried so i called the number back and the same man answered the phone and was very rude to me and demanded an apology from my husband. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he became very obnixous and rambling on about how i was going to be charged with defamation of character and hung up.

When I got home I started doing research on the number and the america credit service. The number is a mobile cell phone number located in los angeles california. These people need to be stoped! There is no telling how many people that have fell for this scheme. Please let me know if anyone else has had the same harassing call. ThanK you.
