Ruined my birthday!

My husband sends me flowers for my birthday. I call to thank my husband he asks how they look. I tell him and he gets furious. He ordered a special pink arrangement in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness due to our own personal experience with it. 20% of the cost of the flowers goes to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. It is supposed to be a beautiful, all pink arrangement in a pink vase. The dimensions are to approx. 16 in. High x 14in. Wide. Truly a beautiful, full arrangement. What PETAL DESIGNS sent me was about 6-7 inches high and no bigger than a corsage! It didn't even remotely come close to what the ordered piece should look like.

I call the florist only to get a rude and nasty response from Dan, a relative or perhaps spouse of the owner. He tells me he did me a favor because he upgraded the order. If that was an upgrade then the original must have been a flower seed in a shot glass. My standard size birthday cards TOWERED over the piece they sent not to mention there was only about 5 flowers in the whole thing. Being someone who ran a flower shop for years myself, I know how it goes. You may not always have exactly what is in the picture but you do your best to replicate it in EVERY way, size, color and fullness. Customer service is definately not this company's concern. All they care about is bragging about what fancy floral design school they went to and how "renowned" they are. Well, they don't give crap about their customer. They disrespected me and as far as I'm concerned the whole meaning of the floral arrangement itself.

They are a complete disgrace to floral industry and made me feel anything but special on my birthday.
