Direct TV - Quest - DIRECTV Not Green (no recycling) Impossilbe to contact Golden

Ordered DirectTV Satellite service with Qwest and the said if was free install.

Then the DirectTV install person shows up says it is $75 I said they told me free install? He said ok can take $40 if you pay me with cash. (very suspesious)

Also we found the order was incorrect and he did not have the DVR receiver I ordered. So I just said forget it and cancel the order.

DTV would not remove the ugly dish. I have spent 50 hours on the phone to try to have them come get their new dish for the sake of recycling they said "we don't remove dishes and if they did they would just throw it away." they told me to "remove it and throw it out." This is very irresponsible in today's day and age, not recycling perfectly good metal and 45' of cable wires etc. I would never order anything from Qwest or DirectTV again.

What a joke of a companey!
