Harrassment during bankruptcy ripoff

We filed for Chapter 13 a week ago. Our attorney told us that Rent a center would be included in the plan payments because it is a debt we owe. We were not a dime late prior to the filing. Since we filed they have called my home, cell, husbands cell, husbands work and all our references multiple times a day.

They come to our house daily and ring the door bell over and over and beat on the door so hard the pictures fall off the wall. My husband faxed them a copy of our bankruptcy case info with a note that said YOU MUST CONTACT OUR ATTORNEY FROM THIS POINT ON. He received a fax back that said they don't have to abide by bankruptcy law and we can't pay in the plan and we need to return the washer and dryer.

And the harrassment continues! We are actually only 1 week behind on payments at this point and I don't understand why they have to be this way. My attorney is about an hour and a half away and not very receptive to my calls or emails (i rarely ever get a reply) but they said they'd take care of it.in the meantime Rent a Center is going against the automatic Stay and continually harrassing us.
