I wrote a complaint about this company in 2005 and have been fighting with his various attorneys. I have been served with a summons now to appear in court on the 7th of August because I refused to pay his exhorbitant bill with added interest (5x the amount of his estimate), claiming his company finished the required work and my house passed inspection. Untrue. We failed inspection 3 times because of his shoddy, incomplete and refusal to follow the City of Belleville Electrical Codes. Steve not only had a verbal altercation with the Electrical Inspector in my home, BUT he walked off the job forcing us to call another company to finish the work so we could finally pass inspection and move into the house. Time and time agan I have had to answer a new attorney's letter explaining why I refused to pay him, listing the long list of damages he and his employees did to our property, to include burning a brand new, just delivered stove, knocking off the Ameritech/SBC phone box on the outside wall, punching enormous holes through my concrete and cinder block walls, tearing down my laundry room ceiling just to reconnect a light fixture, stealing several of our tools and not grounding our dishwasher which would have caused a house fire. The list is extensive and the repairs and replacements costly. I have written the City of Belleville, filed complaints with the STL Better Business Bureau and with the State Attorney's office. Hopefully, we will see some relief when I appear in court.
