Six weeks plus waiting for washer repair, still waiting

I guess this company expects people to get tired of waiting and go out and buy a new machine. After waiting nearly 3 weeks for the repair guy to come out we were told it woud be another week or so for parts. When they came back we were told they needed more parts and it would be another week or so. That brought us to 5 weeks, which was 2 days ago.

They left the washer leaking and they say it will be 8 days before they can come back out. Then they'll have to order the pump that they already knew about but didn't order or put in the paperwork, which will put us at 7-8 weeks. GE is using A&E Appliance Repair. They've already spent more than the machine is worth new, but tell me they can do nothing and that I just have to wait.

I'll never ever buy anything GE again, regardless of what division.
