Ripoff ripoff ripoff business from hell will not stand behind their words

We are currently having a pool constructed by Blue Haven Pools. All was going well until today. We asked when our heater would be installed and the response we got was that there was no heater on the contract. Huh, we spent 30 min. At the close discussing whether or not we would need electric or propane, where to put the propane tank and the cost to heat with electric vs. Propane.in my world that implies that we are getting a heater with our pool.

Just this past Monday, only 4 days ago, my husband called the sales rep and asked where/how the propane would be connected and the rep told us where specifically to connect the propane to the heater with the understanding that we are responsible for the connection... Again, huh.

Now the rep tells us 4 days later that there was no heater on the contract and that the heater would cost us an additional $1500.00, third huh, how in the world could the rep know today that we did not have a heater on our contract and not on Monday when we were going thru the particulars. Is this used car salesman tactics, a scam or what?

I am in sales and pride myself in the fact that I deliver on the expectations that were set at the close. The Box for heater may have not been checked (heck, no one could even read the sales reps hand-writing when they were trying to figure out what tile we chose) on the contract, but the rep completely left us with the impression that a heater was a part of the package and has even acknowledged the conversation that we had about the heater, but "if we want to heat our pool, we are going to have to come up with an additional $1500".

Based off other "rip off reports" $1500 may be a recurring them. My advise to everyone, don't do business with a company who will not stand behind their words or the words of their sales persons.
