Verizon
Unauthorized $13.73 Charge for My Info Guard Service on Phone Bill

Shops, Products, Services

Verizon has allowed ESBI to bill my phone bill $13.73 for a service called "My Info Guard", a supposed ID theft protection for my voice mail. My problem is, I have never heard of ESBI or "My Info Guard" until I saw my bill. I did not authorize it, ask for it, request it, etc.

I have emailed Verizon and will be interested in what they say. I have read several other past reports on this site and others for similar problems with Verizon and ESBI.

I do know that I am prepared to go to the Indiana Attorney General and other federal agencies with this problem if it does not get fixed.
