Ripoff, keeps putting off the rebate check even after 5 months

I live in Dublin, OH. I purchased AT & T DSL high speed internet in September. Then I purhased a DSL Wireless Router from AT & T with a $49.99 rebate in October. I was supposed to get a check in 8-12 weeks, but I didn't get anything. I called them in January and asked them about it. The representative on the phone said that they received my rebate but didn't process it. It was like they were waiting for me to call to escalate the processing or something. The lady gave me a case status number and said she escalated the processing and it would take another 4-6 weeks. I was mad but said ok. I didn't get anything. I just called today and gave my status number. The representative said my rebate status was just escalated today (!) and it is going to take another 4-6 weeks.

I am ultimately angry!!! I can't believe a company as big as AT & T tries to steal the customer's 50 bucks! You are a multi billion $ company! What you need to do is please the customer, not rip them off!!!
