Keep billing like the energizer bunny - long after 3rd demand to cancel

I ordered vonage and when the box came, it was sent to the wrong address. This should have old me something. I tried to use the product for a month and was never able to have 1 phone call that could be considered even remotely usable.

In October, I ask for service to be canceled. I got a smoke job about how things were my fault and they were going to be nice and give me some credit. - This in effect put me past any 30 day return claim -

When the calls became unacceptable beyond recognition of who I was talking to I called and ask that the service be discontinued. The call quality was so bad that I was forced to use a cell phone to ask for service to be canceled. I was put thru the usual hold, switch, and hold routine I have found out they are famous for.

In early December, I called and again ask for service to be canceled.in late December, I found a $5.00 charge on my credit card and thought that this was the last payment.

In January I found a charge for just under $20.00 on my credit card. When I called I was told that I would not be getting any of my money back and that I would have to pay a disconnect fee on top of that.

I do not understand why with a flat fee of $14.99 per month they end up charging small amounts and such seemingly random amounts. Even though I clearly demanded that this account be closed because of miserable quality on 4 separate occasions.

It is my opinion that they deliberately ripped me off with negligence in closing the account it is also my opinion this was possibly a deliberate attempt at fraud. It is further my opinion that they deliberately continued to bill me for amounts that would go unnoticed by the average person. I am also under the opinion that we will be seeing a lot of vonage in the media and it will be for Credit Card fraud.
