Computer Shut Down From 120 Spyware Cookie Files, Privacy Concern

I purchased a Dell Dimension 1100 from Aaron's. The price was better than $1600.00 with a 12 month lease/purchase. FYI, this is not a knock on Dell; they have a reset to fix problem.

Okay, I am 3 months into this agreement. My computer shuts down and I have no internet. A local computer shop said it was going to cost me to get it fixed. I called Dell (thank you, Dell), and they told me I have a spyware problem. Get this: 120 files of Aaron's cookies stopped my computer. Dell had a very easy fix. They reset my computer to the way they sent it to Aaron's, before the 120 cookies were installed.

My problem is how much personal information was shared before I knew what was going on. I have eBay and PayPal accounts, and I have shared my credit card number online. I feel like I have been invaded.

You know the saying about wanting to be a "fly on the wall." Aaron's is the fly.

Very, very, very upset.
