ITT Corporation MIDWEST Phone Card ripoff dishonest phone surcharge billing

The reported company provides phone card services but is using illegal surchaging activities to rip off its customer.

The company deducted about 52 cents from the balance on its phone card when making calls even in cases where the connection was made but no one picked the phone at the other end. When I called the customer service, I was told that you are liable to be charged if a connection was made and you stayed on the phone for about 13 seconds even if the person on the other side did not pick up the phone. But the phone cards are being offered for sale by many shops in the Chicago area.

The phone card shows has ENTRIX trademark logo and a label indicating that the service is provided by the same company.
