Ripoff, takes authorized payments then charges fees!

This company has the WORST customer service ever! (Which begins with the fact that they don't even have a toll-free number!) I set up payment arrangements in June of this year in order to pay my balance. I agreed to three dates the payments could be taken from my checking account. The first one was fine, then 5 days prior to the second payment I contacted them to advise that the money would not be available and I needed to stop that payment from going through. The rep told me to fax the information and that was that.

So the payment didn't go through then, but a month later, all of a sudden, the payment was deducted from my account! I had never authorized that payment! I told the rep when I cancelled the second payment that I would call back to reschedule a payment. They had the NERVE to charge me a returned check fee AND I was charged one by my bank. I talked to 2 reps and 2 supervisors who told me they would refund the charge from my bank and that they would call me back once I faxed over the proof of the NSF charge.

I faxed it THREE times to THREE different reps. Never received a return call. Now I'm getting calls from a collection agency trying to get what I owe PLUS $35 for LTD's NSF charge! They are crazy if they think I'm paying them $35 more because of the error they made by just randomly taking a payment from my account without authorization. Then when you try to call them, you can NEVER get through and are told by the automated system that the wait time is 15-20 minutes.

My time is valuable and I am not going to sit on hold all that time while I'm at work. They are the worst company i've ever dealt with, and people. DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! Their products are cheap and cheesy and aren't worth the hassle you have to go through and the ridiculously high shipping charges. It's amazing this dumb company is still in business.
