This is a warning to anyone thinking of buying a poodle from Elizabeth Davis, the horribly dishonest owner behind gorgeouspoodles.com. After buying one of her poodles, within 24 hours we found out she was infested with tapeworms. This is ironic because before entering her home, she made us take off our shoes and use hand sanitizer, so we bought into her scam thinking we were going to get a top quality dog. That wasn't the case. Not only was she ill, but the dog also has no personality, just acts like a stick in the mud and cowers from all human contact.

After making this known to Elizabeth, she made all kinds of excuses, lies and whatnot; claiming that it wasn't her responsibility, and throwing her all powerful contract in my face. Her only solution was, according to her contract, I had to sell the dog back to her for half what I paid ($1500), and she would just sell her to someone else; even though I told her the dog has trust issues with people. Probably because of the way Elizabeth Davis, this expert poodle breeder, treats her dogs when they're young. Anyway, she's a total fraud, she goes back on her word from one email to the next, she gives you time limits for your responses, glorifies that stupid contract of hers, then makes stipulations like if she takes the dog back she needs a stool exam. Or take her to the groomer, or she offers you $500 because you didn't answer her in time, or that shed been secretly recording your telephone conversations. And here's a good one: she told me the dog's color wouldn't fade, but it did. Several shades of red, so she's a total liar. You can't believe a word she says, because her word isn't worth two cents.

Bottom line is, don't buy a poodle from Elizabeth Davis, owner of gorgeous poodles.com on the internet. She doesn't give a damn about her dogs, only the money they make for her. Her contract isn't worth crap when she fails to mention that the dog she's selling you is sick, because she knows you wouldn't buy it if you knew the truth. And if you don't believe me, here's a couple quotes from her emails, with the grammar and spelling errors included.

This is it. It ends here. You want to return our precious puppy, we will gladly take her back after receiving stool exam. This puppy has been in your house for more than 2 mos. And stool sample is mandatory. Read the contract < read the contract. We do not have to take the puppy back legally, but we love our fur baby and will be happy to bring her back to a loving home.

So there you have it, folks. Elizabeth Davis in action. If you buy a dog from her, not only will she treat you like a child, if there's a problem with it she'll throw her contract in your face and then demand that you treat her with respect. What a joke. I don't see how just because some unscrupulous breeder tricks you into signing a contract that gives them the right to sell you a bum dog infested with tapeworms and then keep your money. I guess the only recourse is to warn other people about this breeder, which is what I'm doing right here. Do not buy a poodle from Elizabeth Davis, of gorgeous poodles.com located in Bakersfield, California. It will be the worst experience of your life.
