Ripoff fradulenly charge my credit card account

On 9/3/06, I did a routine balance check on my credit card and found that there was a charge for $79.95. I immediately called the credit card company and disputed the charge, the gave the name and city, state and 1-800# from the company making the charge and said I should dispute the charge with them. I have never heard of the company and did not make the charge. I called the company 20-30 times over the nxt three days and never spoke to a person, i was repeatly told that a represtative would call me and of course noone ever did. I ended up reporting my card compromised and am currently going through the dispution process with my credit card company. Unfortunately this credit card is a prepaid card that I have with a second card in my son's name so that he can use it in his college book store to purchase books.

I am out the $79.95 and had to purchase another card so he would have easy access to funds while away at college. For a single mom with one in college and one in private school $79.95 is ALOT of money. I was told the company attempted to make other charges to the account and that it could take 30-60 days to get the money back if I get it back at all. I hope someone starts a class action law suit that I can be part of. This charge has caused a snowball effect to my finaces as I had to rob Peter to pay Paul and make sure my son had access to funds and be able to get his school books. I am already working 60-70 hours a week and will now have to work 2-3 days extra to replace the missing funds. I don't have the luxury of waiting 30-60 days!!!
