After Hours Formal Wear
Wrong colors, wrong sizes, failed to fix problems ripoff, Livonia, Kentwood

I am writting this to make sure what happend to us does not happen to anyone else. After hours ruined our wedding by giving us wrong-colored, stained and wrong-sized clothing.

I had a groomsman who flew in from overseas who picked up his tux from the Sterling Heights Store and recieved a pink tie. When he told them that I said it should be champaign colored, they told him no - it should be pink and made him take the pink tie. When he told me I called the store and argued with them until I turnned blue.

They REFUSED to fix the problem - I could not believe it! Another groomsman needed the sleves on his coat shortened because they covered most of his hands. He went back the next day (day of the wedding), as instructed, to find that the alterations had not only NOT been made, but there were huge chalk marks on the sleves where they were supposed to shorten to that they didn't even remove.

My dad recieved size 9 shoes when he wears size 14, which they thankfully fixed, but meant another trip. Another groomsman's pants were extremely wrinkled and had food on one paint leg that didn't look like they attempted to clean. They tried to give me a stained tie and a coat one-size too small, but fixed both (had to go back the day of the wedding).

I could not believe the level of un-professionalism I found. I've called two times and left messages with the manager, but he still has not returned my calls. They have no "headcorters" or contact information on their web site, so there is no way to contact a supervisor is the store manager is just covering his rear.

Whatever you do, do not use Afterhours. They don't care about their customers and did a shabby job at all three locations we used.
