Plumbing/floor repair rip-off

My bathroom floor absorbed water due to a leak from the toilet
which started the wood to rot. We called a plumbing contractor
for a estimate to repair floor. Contractor informed us that he
had to replace the sub floor approximately 3 feet square into
bedroom closet. He had our permission to cut the wall behind the
toilet. He then told us that he needed to preserve the wood he
was putting in by chemically wood treatment. He also said that
the wall he cut would be repaired. However he never treated the
3 feet square wood sub floor, he did not patch the wall, he did
replace the toilet but left the old one in our yard for us to
dispose of it. I have never known a plumbing contractor who left
materials he replaced for the home owners to dispose of it. He
gave us an estimate of $500. Hourly pay was $50 which he was at
my residence approximately 6 hours totalling $300 which he was
paid for then he left us a balance of $335.00 which totalled
$635.00. I do not feel we should pay him all of it because he did
not do everything he said he was, left old toilet in my yard for
me to dispose of, he never patched the wall he cut. We paid him $235.00 he says we owe him $200. It cost me $40 to dispose of the
old toilet, we have to do the repair of the wall which is $40 so
i feel i do not owe him the $100 but he makes threats of putting
a lien on our property. Is there any advice you can give me.
