Ripoff, After i cancelled my service due to deployment orders, they billed me for two more extra months. Didn't pay, they sent record to credit bereau. Silver srping

I am in the military (Army) and was in virginia. I got orders for europe (Germany), and my report date was 29TH of april. So on the 26TH, i went into a verizon wireless store in dale city in virginia, saw a customer service personel, whom from the looks of hings, was new at the job.

I explained my situation to him, and that i want my service cancelled on the 29TH. I gave him a copy of my orders, he went to the back room, and came back, typed some things on the computer, and then told me that everything is taken care of, so i left with the notion that my service will be cancelled at the appropiate ime.

In my mind, i knew i owed them for the month of April, that was paid, but then they sent bills for May, June and July. At tht time i was in Iraq, so my mom was taken care of my bills. When the bills came to her house for each of the extra months, she made it known to me, so i told her not to pay those bilss, beause as far as i knew, my service was cancelled.

I just happened to check my credit report today, i found out that they had sent my record to one of the credit bereaus, saying that my account is charged off, and that i owe them $151.00
