Ripoff of user account merchant from PayPal. PayPal does not adequatly screen people I paid for a 3k item and recieved a $5 item!

In MY OPINION PayPal failed to screen and adequetly check backgrounds on individual sellers who sold to me.

The 2 sellers who ripped me off were allowed to set up (I THINK) fraudulant accounts with PayPal and then sell me 2 $3000 items with a total of $6000. One PayPal user did not even send the item after it was fully paid for and told me that they were never going to send it, and I paid FULLY!!! The 1st seller even told me they didn't have the item?

The second seller sold me a $3000 item and sent me a very old replica worth $5, and I paid in full 5 minutes after the sale end!

IN MY OPINION The above is an example of the lack of screening and backround checks paypal doesn't do with regard to SETTING UP NEW USER ACCOUNTS.in MY OPINION PayPal needs a better screening process! I feel that they should be liable. Also how are you supposed to trust their service when this type of thing occurs? If they recover my funds quicker I would be happy, however they are EXTREMELY SLOW in doing this and allow for way too much time for sellers to get away with the money and run! I have suffered on my current job performance from the time I have spent submitting evidence to PayPal, only to find out it takes A VERY LONG TIME. I have sufferd loss of time and money and sufferd mental anguish as well! Beware!
