Bad customer service, rude employee Ripoff

I went shopping for groceries Monday, March 27 at this store. I go every 2 weeks and spend about $250 on groceries because it is usually not very crowded. Every time I buy groceries, I pay with a check because it helps me track my spending easier than using the card. Well, I shopped for about 2-2 1/2 hours with my 1 year old and husband. We had 2 baskets full of groceries. When I gave the cashier the check, she called for a CSM, which they always do. The CSM told me they could not take my check. I asked why and told her I had written them there before with no problem. She was rude and loud, told me "Since your check is from an out of state bank, we can't take it". I said "My husband and I both have military ID's and were told by the same store that it was ok". She kept being rude and didn't want to listen to anything I said, she was rolling her eyes at me anytime I spoke. I got mad and told her "If you wouldn't have been so F* rude to me, I could have given you the number to call the bank and verify the check, but the way I was treated, I would rather go up to Walmart and give them my money". I then went up to the customer service desk to get a phone number for a complaint line, while I was waiting my turn there, a little girl came up to me, tried to hand me $40, and told me her mom wanted me to have it to buy some food. I was touched and humiliated at the same time. I am not even angry about them not taking the check, I could have given them the number to call and make sure the funds were there, and been on my way. The way I was humiliated and belittled was completely uncalled for. I don't think the rude CSR should be fired for this, I think that with her attitude, she needs this job badly and wouldn't be qualified for a better job. I hope she works there for the rest of her life as a glorified cashier, that would be the best payback for me. With employees like her, I can see why so many K-marts are going bankrupt.
