Ripoff reduced credit for "preferred" custome

I sent the following e-mail to Kohl's Customer Service Contact Center:

I have been in the process during recent years of re-establishing credit after an unfortunate and costly divorce. Several months ago I applied for and was approved for a Kohl's charge card with a credit limit of $1000.00. I have never been late with a payment or went over my credit limit.

I recently received a letter dated February 22 stated that due to my credit history with one of the consumer credit reporting agency, my credit limit with Kohl's has been reduced to $100.00. This same day, I also received a coupon for a discount from Kohl's for being a preferred customer. If this is the way you treat and/or reward your preferred customers, I would prefer not to do business with your store, and I certainly do not need your token credit.

Unless this is resolved by reinstating my original credit limit immediately, please cancel my credit card with your store. I realize I am not the type of credit card customer that is most profitable for you since I pay off my entire balance each time a purchase is made, but I certainly do have influence with some of your existing and potential customers, and will be more than happy to relay my experience and treatment by Kohl's to them.
