Customer Service ripoff phone service nightmare that I can't wake up from

I sure do wish I read all of these complaints before signing up in November of 05. Now, I am stuck with the service for at least another month so that I don't have to pay the 130.00 dollars in disconnection fees! Then it will only cost me 40 bucks.

I have had the same problems, they did not transfer my old number, and then come to find out... NEVER WILL, wrong address, long wait times... Snotty customer service, bad connections, dropped calls, (one night at 1:30 in the morning, my phone kept ringing, I would answer, no one there, hang up, it would ring again, and on and on and on until I called Vonage only to have my office torn apart from unplugging lines here, cords there and no solution. Finally, I just left the phone of the hook!) etc, etc.

I thought I would save a bundle... NOT! And then people could not call me cause my number was long distance from across the street, even though I called a couple of times to get my address corrected... Never would happen!

Please People... Do yourself a favor and don't ever sign up with this company. They are THE worst I have ever dealt with in my entire life, I swear! (and I have been around for a lot of decades) I have had numerous cell phones, fax lines, land lines, ISP's, etc. But, Vonage wins hands down on being the biggest rip-off known to man.
