Ripoff, Southfield, and Detroit

Mr. Campbell was hired do some legal work. He was paid in advance and in full for $645.00. He cashed that check 2 days later, and then I didn't hear from him for 2 weeks. When I tried to reach him, via phone, his phone number was disconnected.

I did some searching and came across several other numbers (248-663-4004,313-596-3700, and 303,400-9065). After trying these numbers he finally answered, but when I asked for him, he hung up on me. I called back, left a message advising that I was going to press charges for fraud, and advise that I just wanted my money back.

He called right back, and said he was on the case and that a court date had been set for January. A few days after this conversation, I recieved some paperwork (obviously copied and/or downloaded from the internet) advising he had begun my case.

It has been one month, and since then I have sent 'return reciept' letters to all four addresses, including filing a claim with the State of Michigan Attorney Greivance Commission. It was on their response back to me that I discovered Mr Campbell had relocated and was now residing in Colorado. He didn't even say goodbye! I have also sent him a return reciept letter to that address also.

I have also reported him to the WJBK/Fox Channel 2 Hall of Shame, but have yet to hear from them.

Mr. Campbell should be embarrassed, and ashamed for being a fake and fraud. Times are tough, and people don't have money to blow, but obviously Mr. Campbell is not concerned with that.

I hope that many people read this and I hope that Mr Campbell can be stopped from ripping anyone else off in the future.
