Attempt to collect from wrong person, cease and desist letter, ripoff

Has anyone else heard of or from Core Collection Company? They have sent us several harrassing letters regarding a debt due a doctor's office in Salem, NJ. They address the letter to "John" but my husbands first name is spelled "Jon" not to mention he has never stepped foot in New Jersey.

I have tried locating this company, as well as the doctor's office in question, on the internet via websites or yellow pages with no success. I just think it's rather strange that the doctor's office, at least, wouldn't be listed somewhere.

Also, can anyone tell me how to write and send a cease and desist letter?
