Unauthorized charges to credit card, ripoff

I ordered a blue topaz ring from The Royalton Collection or National Consumer Marketing. The charge was to be $10 for the ring and $3.95 for shipping and handling.
I received a necklace, bracelet and a pair of earrings but no ring. They charged my Discover card $29.95 for the items I received and $9.95 for shipping and handling. Also they charged the $10 and $3.95 for shipping and handling for the ring I did not receive.
Granted the ring may arrive in a separate shipment but I still did not order or authorize them to send the other items and charge my credit card for items I didn't order.
I am hoping that when I send these items back they will make it right by crediting my credit card for the $29.95 and $9.95 charges that I did not authorize. If not, well I have contacted my Discover card and they said they will dispute the charges.
I am thinking I will quit ordering anything by mail. I have had a few problems in the past with incorrect charges and things being different than pictured. I think I will limit my shopping to local stores where I can see the items and pay cash for them.
