Ripoff Their service sucks, their bill is a mess and I would never recommend them to anyone I know

Nextel is a pain to deal with.

My husband and I moved to a new area and it took me 3 months to get our service trasfered and active. I was transfered from one department to another. And no one seemed to know what the other was doing.
They finally got our sevice active but we have had problems from day one. We have vey little coverage and I can't even use my phone inside my home, I have to go outside to get it to work.

For two months I had not recieved a bill from them and I repeatedly called and requested one. Well I got the bill alright, two at one time and neither were correct. Plus, you have to have a genuis degree to understand their bill, it is so confusing. I recieved a bill from them that was incorrect. I was being charged for the two-way service which was suppose to be free. I called to clear this matter up and was told that my program did not include the free two-way but when we first got the service it did, so therefore it was changed without my consent. They say that I now owe them $177.70. They have already shut our phones off and turned it over to a collection service.

I refuse to pay the bill until the corrections are made whcih Nextel refuses to do. Every rep that I have spoke with says that it is my problem and I have to pay the bill. BULL! It will be a cold day in H*L before they get another dime out of me.

Their service sucks, their bill is a crock of mess and I would never recommend them to anyone I know. I have heard many complaints about them from various people.
I intend to find another phone service and throw their phones in the Atlantic Ocean as fish bait.
