Ripoff, they over charged and no one lived there, braker box off also

I am carolyn beaver. I came down with colon cancer. I have been living with my daughter in jan. Still here they charged me with a 1,000.00 dollar and there are locks on the gate so i know they didnt read the meters. They said there was a phone call made from the house. There was no phone call made, we turned it off in jan. I am not the only one they have done this to. We even had the braker box shut off to there is no way me by myself and no one staying there that much used. Is there any thing i can do?
