Another Senior Citizen ripped off!

My newer washer/dryer weren't working so I called Citywide Electric (10% Sr. Discount!). A technician named Alfred came out, said it was a burned braker. He installed new brakers and changed the washer/dryer braker to another location in the box. It took all of 15 minutes and that included a leisurely trip to his truck. The charge was $1444.38! He said that price reflected the 10% senior citizen discount. He said he could change the back of the box too for another $1100 but that it really wasn't necessary. An electrician who works at my school district said some of his coworkers had commented how they used to work for large electrical companies and had to quit because they got tired of having to rip off little old ladies.
