Ipoff, dishonest, please check with better buisness bureau before using this comany Movieng company scams

My husband and I were so excited we were going to be closing on our first home June 28. We had contacted a nubmer of moving companies, Amerigo movers was the only company that told us they actually had a truck leaving a couple of days before we were. We thought that was perfect just in case any delays we still had plenty of time. The furniture first date promised was June 29th, when we did not here from the company that day we called at that time we were told it was still in NY.

Ok say they said hopefully next week... Well needless to say the next week came and went. Meanwhile here we are in our first house with nothing.

We went out and bought a new Grill to cook on since all our pot and pans were on the truck. We also had to purchase a air mattress to sleep on. Thank goodness we had most of our clothing.

So here we are July 15 and still no furniture. Spoke with Manager Joe and guess where it is. New york. Go figure. They now tell us hopefully on or around July 20.

Which of course is the 5-14 buisness days they promise your furniture in it is of course the 14th buisness day!!! If we had known it was going to take this long we never would have used them and will never recommend will do just the opposite.

Of course the company does not give you any answers on where your stuff is, other then "sorry ma'am we are doing our best to your furniture to you".

It will also take you about 2 weeks and alot of phone calls to speak with anyone other them the receptionist. You will also want to ignore the phone calls from the company when they call and leave messages telling you, your furniture will be leaving on a certain day because it is a lie.

So again please think twice about using this company I wish I had read some of these alerts before booking them for my move.
