Louis Marut owner of L&M Landscaping did an excellent job selling his company and services. Unfortunately, that is the only thing he did well with our landscaping project. We paid in excess of 30K for landscaping which included a brick patio.

The patio was not installed correctly; it slopes towards the house and causes water to pond on the patio surface after a rain.in the winter, thawing snow freezes due to the ponding problem as a result of how the patio was installed.

The bad patio design also did not take into account a downspout. When it rains, water from the downspout enters a basement door. The siding where L&M installed brick stairs is still not repaired. Several of the plants died and he never finished the job as promised.

We foolishly paid Louis with the understanding he would return the following day to finish up the project. The only thing Louis did was take the check and run to the bank to despoit it.

We have a "warranty" on the patio; a 3 year warranty. When contacting L&M to ask them to correct the problems with the patio, we get promised and lip service and nothing else.

If you want to pay a lot of money for a lousy landscape design and poor workmanship then L&M Landscaping is the company to call. They are excellent at not keeping any promises or commitments.
