Verizon also has a land-based line in MN. They publish a local telephone book, and internet site.in Feb. Of 04' I started to recieve calls that were gross and disgusting. I called one of the callers back and asked him where he had gotten my number.

The gentlemen told me out of the phone book. To my shock and horror there it was P.M. Escort Services. I looked at the address and thankfully it wasn't mine, it wasn't anyone else's either. It doesn't exist in the city I live in and never has.

When I contacted Verizon on the matter I was told to "deal with it". I had asked if they were going to reimburse me for the previous 2 1/2 years of paying for a non published number and he named "Eric" laughed at me on the phone.

I am now in the process of filing a small claims against them. I have not filed the papers, but there in the works. I am trying to get all of the input I can on the matter, so if you have had the same problem and have a solution, please let me know.
