Ripoff! Lies, lies & maybe put my life in danger!

Planning a nice B-Day vacation to Austria (alone!) I wanted to make sure I would be reachable, so I took my old AT&T phone to this store to see if it would work. NO! After over an hour I purchased an additional cell phone that the sales rep Blaze Kopec promised me would work over there. It did NOT!

I was out of touch w / my family alone in a foregin country. Nice right! Finally I make a very expensive call from my hotel to the Internet to find the help # called them & get my service! After wasting hours of my expensive vacation time & extra $.

I was scared as heck! They really have nerve! & their customer service is horrible! Got the run around from one guy, hung up on by another lady. Finally the last person I spoke to said they would give me the $ for the service call. BIG DEAL! I had another trip to CA so I did not have time to cancel my plan w / a super high early termination fee..

Something just seems wrong here? Help me if you can PLEASE. After ove 9 years w / AT&T I really miss them. Stay away from Cingular!!
