ILD Teleservices - Local Biz USA ripoff fraudulent charges to telephone bill

After receiving my February phone bill, I noticed a charge in the amount of $38.62 from ILD Teleservices, Inc.

Knowing that I did not authorized anyone to charge my phone bill for anything, I contacted the company (Local Biz USA) to find out what this was for. They told me that I had agreed to sign up for a website with them and that the charge was my monthly fee. When I told them that I never agreed to anything like this and that we already had a website, John Galloway (who claimed to be the Customer Service Manager) told me that he had my voice on tape agreeing to the charges. He also told me that I was mailed an information package (never received) and why did I wait til now to call and complain. I asked to hear that tape which he did find and play for me. The voice on the tape was NOT mine. Even so, he told me that it was "too bad" and that I was responsible for it, not him. He also advised me that the next charge for March would appear on my phone bill shortly.

After much bickering back and forth, he said that he would reverse the charge for March (will believe it when I see it) but the charge for February would stand.

This company is an absolute nightmare. They are charging phone accounts without authorization and need to be made to stop. As I can see, I am not the only one who has been taken advantage of by this company.

Please be aware of this company and this man, John Galloway.
