Cingular Customer Service
Ripoff Closing my account as I was making payments since it went from $ 60 to180,360 etc Service Center 800 Phone

I went into to the Cingular Service Center to pay $200 on bill on current charges of $318 on the bill. I don't have the onther $118 at the moment, however I can not acces my account from the pay machine because they have closed the account and sent it to a collection agency. The last payment I made on my account was after Thanskgiving 2004 of $60 bringing the balance to $318. Mind You the my Phone Service was not active from about the! 5 of November. I have never let my bil get this hihg however I have made a $60 obligation (A payment toward it) And Saturdy January 15th was the first day I had any money to pay towards $200 and the Customer Service Represntative Told me I had incurred more charges on my in active phone account and it had to be paid in full as the account was sent to a collection agency. I have had the accoucnt for 1 year today Opend January. I have not had a bad patmeny history with my Cingular.

I made an attempt to pay $ 200 on $318 and the Bill had gone up to $427 as of the 14 Of Saturday 2005 only one year in to having the account! I'll pay but not if I'm incurring charges on an inactive phone that I can only cover a generous portion but the whole Bill!
