Collection agency reports $118 owed two years after account paid in full

Cingular is screwing up my credit report! Had 2 Cingular phones on 1 year contract. Discontinued in mid. Have copy of July invoice for two phones that shows zero monies past due and $. 73 currently due - must be last invoice before change to a different cell phone carrier.

All of a sudden in late find that recently a collection agency for Cingular has filed that $118 is owed since 10. Credit Reporting Agency says this charge is correct because Collection Agency has verified it to be correct in spite of my proof of account being current as of July. Collection Agency has not responded to me.

Tried phoning Cingular but their line seems to always be busy!
