I went into the Billings Heights, Montana Ace Hardware, store # 08747. I waited patiently beside a display while a clerk helped a customer get rung up by a cashier. They chatted, smiled, and generally had a good time. As the clerk walked away I asked him the price of the item I wished to buy. He gave me an irritated look and rudely informed me that a cashier or someone else would have to tell me the price, he had other stuff to do. I looked at the cashier (who was friendly to me) and said "Well! That was helpful! The HELPFULL HARDWARE PLACE!!!" The cashier gave me the store number and the clerk's name when I asked. The clerk was LARRY.
Obviously Larry had no intetrest all in what I might have needed to purchase.
